Distributions come from the revenue of electricity sold to the local utility. After operating costs (maintenance, insurance, taxes) are deducted, panel holders receive 70% of the net proceeds proportional to their ownership. The farm is owned and operated by an independent, verified solar farm operator — not SolarWise. SolarWise is the platform that facilitates fractional ownership of individual panels within those farms, and manages the ownership registry and distribution process.
